Two former Pac-12 stars highlight the list of players invited to the upcoming NBA Draft. According to a draftexpress.com report, the projected top-two picks, Washington’s Markelle Fultz and UCLA’s Lonzo Ball, have been invited to attend the 2017 NBA draft in New York on June 22nd.
Other invitees include Gonzaga’s Zach Collins, De’Aaron Fox and Malik Monk of Kentucky, Florida State’s Jonathan Isaac, Josh Jackson from North Carolina, Arizona’s Lauri Markkanen, North Carolina State’s Dennis Smith and Jayson Tatum of Duke.
Fultz led the PAC-12 in scoring as a freshman for the Huskies, averaging 23.2 points per game. Ball led the conference in assists at 7.2 per game. He was named Pac-12 Freshman of the Year after helping the Bruins to the Sweet 16 of the NCAA Tournament.
The Boston Celtics hold the top pick in the NBA Draft, which will be held at the Barclays Center in New York.
