The Seattle Seahawks are trading wide receiver Jermaine Kearse to the New York Jets for defensive lineman Sheldon Richardson. That’s according to to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

ESPN.com is reporting the Jets will get Seattle’s 2018 second-round draft pick. + According to sources the teams will swap seventh-round picks in the deal.
Kearse caught 41 passes for 510 yards and one touchdown last season. He signed a three-year 13.5 million dollar deal last march.
Richardson is heading into his 5-year in the NFL. He was the Defensive Rookie of the Year in 2014.
Seattle was poised to make a move after restructuring wide receiver Doug Baldwin’s contract earlier on Friday . The move cleared over 5-million dollars in cap space.
Richardson, 26, has spent his entire four-year career with the Jets. The former Defensive Rookie of the Year made the Pro Bowl in 2014.
