It look like the Seattle Seahawks have added a former college star to their stellar defense. According to a USA Today Sports report, Dion Jordan, the former No. 3 overall pick in the 2013 draft, has agreed to a contract with Seattle.

Jordan was waived by the Miami Dolphins March 31st after failing a physical.

The 3rd year pro out of Oregon, has been a bust in the NFL. He has not played in a game since 2014 due to three violations of the NFL’s substance abuse policy and a knee injury.

Jordan, who played at defensive end for Miami, projects into the open strongside linebacker role for Seattle. Last year’s starter Mike Morgan is an unrestricted free agent.

The Seahawks have not confirmed the move.
