It took 13 innings Tuesday night for the Seattle Mariners to get past the Boston Red Sox. Not much time to enjoy the 6-5 extra-inning victory with an afternoon start today in the final game of the series.

Seattle will be looking for a sweep of the A.L. East leading Red Sox when Andrew Moore (1-2 , 5.70 ERA) squares off against Chris Sale (12-4 , 2.48 ERA). The M’s also have an opportunity to go over .500 on the year for the first time since June 24th.

The M’s are starting Danny Espinosa at second base today. The back-up infielder was signed this weekend after being cut by the Angles

First pitch is scheduled for 12:40pm on KPUG 1170AM and 97,9FM in Bellingham.
