Prep Football: Lynden at Ferndale tops week 2 action

The rivalry showdown between Lynden and Ferndale is the top Friday Night Lights draw in Whatcom County prep football tonight. The Lions visit the Golden Eagles in a non-conference match-up on KPUG (1170AM, 97.9FM & kpug1170.com) beginning at 6:35pm.

Our other radio game has the Blaine Borderites playing host to the Meridian Trojans om KGMI (790AM, 96.5FM & kgmi.com) at 6:35pm

Elsewhere tonight Nooksack Valley is at Granite Falls and Mount Baker crosses the border to battle Fulton, British Columbia. Closer to home there’s a doubleheader at Civic Stadium. Squalicum squares off with South Delta, B.C. At 5:00pm and Bellingham plays Shorewood at 8pm. In 1B action Lummi Nation is hosting Neah Bay.

Om Saturday Lynden Christian is at Cascade Christian and Sehome hosts Seaquim Secondary at Civic Stadium.
