Prep basketball results Tuesday night

High school basketball finals from Tuesday night…in girls 1A district play Lynden Christian defeated Meridian 67-40.  Nooksack Valley beat King’s 42-37.  That means the Lyncs and Pioneers will play for the district championship Saturday night in Mount Vernon.  Meridian will host South Whidbey in a loser-out game Thursday night.

In boys regular season action Sehome got by Burlington 71-69, Lynden beat Ferndale 78-49, Squalicum fell to top-ranked Anacortes 71-54 and Bellingham defeated Blaine 74-41.
