Nelson Cruz leaving M’s for Minnesota

Multiple media outlets are reporting that veteran slugger Nelson Cruz is leaving the Seattle Mariners to sign with the Minnesota Twins.  Cruz reportedly gets a one-year contract in Minnesota with a club option for a second season.

Cruz hit 163 home runs in four seasons as a Mariner, including 37 last year.
