Mariners outfielder Stefen Romero recalled from AAA

The Seattle Mariners announced today that outfilder Stefen Romero has been recalled from AAA Tacoma. Left-handed pitcher Lucas Luetge was optioned to Tacoma. Romero will travel with the Mariners and be active for the second-half opening series against the Los Angeles Angels that starts Friday.

Romero was optioned following the Mariners game June 29th. He appeared in 11 games with Tacoma where he batted .283 with 3 home runs and 9 RBIs. He started all 11 games in right field for the Rainiers.

Luetge was recalled from AAA on July 10 and made one appearance with the Mariners.
