Mariners fans got a scare last night when lefty starter James Paxton walked off the mound with an injury in the first inning against the Angels. It turns out he is having pain in his back. It was Paxton’s last start before the All-Star break. M’s manager Scott Servais said they are treating the injury cautiously, and that Paxton should be in the rotation and healthy after the All-Star break.
