MAPLE FALLS, Wash. – A young Maple Falls woman is dead in a single vehicle accident on the Mount Baker Highway.

The State Patrol reports 27 year old Ashleigh Graham was driving east of Maple Falls just before 1 a.m. when her car left the roadway, struck an embankment and landed in a deep ditch.

She wasn’t wearing a seat belt and was declared dead at the scene.

Troopers say speed was a factor in the crash.
