Lynden star Zamora to play in college at Western

Lynden High School basketball star Christian Zamora has announced he’ll stay in Whatcom County and play his college basketball at Western Washington University.  Zamora, a 6-5 shooting guard, is the all-time leading scorer in the history of Lynden basketball.  He averaged 17.6 points a game as a prep senior.

Zamora helped lead the Lions to back-to-back Class 2A state championships.
