In Class 1A high school football action Thursday night Lynden Christian beat Meridian 21-12 and Nooksack Valley defeated Mount Baker 19-16.  That means Meridian will be the #1 seed, LC #2 and Mount Baker #3 heading into next week’s crossover games.

Coming up Friday night you can hear a 2A loser-out game as Bellingham takes on Sehome.  The Mariners just beat the Red Raiders last week in regular season play 54-27.  It’s a 6:35 pre-game show and 7:00 kickoff on AM790 KGMI.

Elsewhere Friday night Ferndale has a crossover game against Meadowdale at Edmonds Stadium at 8:00, Blaine plays Mountlake Terrace also at Edmonds Stadium at 5:00, Squalicum visits Snohomish at 7:00 and Lummi is at Darrington at 7:00.

The Lynden Lions have a bye this week.
