Lynden and MB stay near top of football rankings

The Lynden Lions and Mount Baker Mountaineers are both at #2 in their respective state football polls for the second week in a row.

Lynden trails only unanimous #1 Tumwater in Class 2A. Tumwater is 5-0. Lynden is 4-1.

In Class 1A Mount Baker is behind Royal for the top spot. Royal got seven first-place votes. The Mounties got five. The teams have matching 5-0 records.

Lynden Christian is 5th in the 1A poll.
