Mariner pitcher James Paxton was in the middle of a strange incident before Thursday’s game in Minnesota.  Paxton was warming up on the field when the bald eagle the Twins brought out to be part of their home-opening festivities tried to land on his shoulder.

Paxton ended up allowing two runs on five hits.  He was not involved in the decision.
