Longtime Meridian football coach Bob Ames retiring

Longtime Meridian High School football coach Bob Ames has announced he’s retiring after 46 seasons leading the Trojans. Ames has the third most wins in the history of the state of Washington. He led Meridian to three state championships.

No word yet on who will take over as coach of the Trojans.
