LLWS: Walla Walla Valley begins play Friday in Williamsport

The Walla Walla Valley Little League baseball team begins play Friday at the World Series in Williamsport, Pennsylvania. The Northwest Region champions will play the West Region champs, Santa Margarita out of California at 1:00pm pacific.

On Thursday, the White Rock-South Surrey team from British Columbia beat the European-African champions Emilia, Italy 12-2. The game ended after just 4 innings due to the mercy rule. It was the largest win in Canadian Little League history.

White Rock will next play The Latin America representative Luz-Maracaibo our of Venezuela Sunday at 7am pacific.
