Lions and Mounties still #2 in their state polls

In this week’s new Associated Press high school football state poll the Lynden Lions are still #2 in Class 2A trailing only unanimous #1 Tumwater. In Class 1A Mount Baker is 2nd behind Royal. The Mountaineers received three first-place votes. Lynden Christian is #6 in 1A.

Friday night’s Whatcom County radio schedule features all three ranked teams. Mount Baker hosts Lynden Christian on KPUG and Lynden is at Sedro-Woolley on KGMI.
