LC now highest ranked local prep football team

There’s a new highest-ranked team from Whatcom County in this week’s new Associated Press high school football state poll. The Lynden Christian Lyncs are #3 in Class 1A. L-C is up from #6 after beating Mount Baker last week. With the loss the Mountaineers fall from #2 to #4.

In Class 2A the Lynden Lions check in at #4. Lynden is down from #2 last week after losing to Sedro-Woolley.
