LC, MB highly ranked in prep football poll

This week’s Associated Press high school football state rankings are out. The highest-ranked Whatcom County team is Lynden Christian at #2 in Class 1A. The Lyncs received one first-place vote. Also in 1A Mount Baker is #4. The Mountaineers also received at first-place vote.

Lummi is tied for 6th in Class 1B and Lynden is #8 in Class 2A.
