LC grad Bajema wins regional award for Huskies

Former Lynden Christian High School volleyball star Kara Bajema is now a senior for the University of Washington. Bajema has been named the Pacific North Region Player of the Year by the American Volleyball Coaches Association. The 6-2 outside hitter has 553 kills this season.

Bajema will lead the Huskies into the Round of 16 in the national tournament in Waco, Texas Friday. The Dawgs take on Kentucky at 11:30 AM Pacific time.
