Husky men’s rowing takes national title

Washington won the varsity eight grand final Sunday and took the men’s heavyweight national championship in the Intercollegiate Rowing Association regatta.  The Huskies finished in 5 minutes, 37.113 seconds. Brown was second in 5:39.626.

Washington was the overall points champion for the eighth consecutive year, also winning the men’s varsity four and men’s freshmen eight races en route to a four-point victory over California.
