The Washington Huskies have landed a star in-state offensive lineman. The Seattle Times reports Rainier Beach High School junior tackle Nathaniel Kalepo has committed to the University of Washington 2019 recruiting class.

Kale announced his decision via Twitter Friday posting photos with family and Washington head coach Chris Petersen. He wrote, “This whole process has been an absolute blessing but I’m staying home and committing to the University Of Washington #GoDawgs #PurpleReign”

Scout.com lists Kalepo, who is the nephew of former UW All-American Danny Shelton, at 6-5 and 290 pounds.

The 4-star lineman is ranked the 3rd best recruit in the state of Washington for 2019 by Scout.com. The top recruit on that list, quarterback Dylan Morris out of Graham-Kapowsin High School, committed to Washington in July.
