Huskies #9 seed, Zags #1 in the big dance

The Washington Husky basketball team received the #9 seed in the Midwest Region of the NCAA Tournament.  They’ll play the #8 seed Utah State Friday at 3:50 in Columbus, Ohio.  The Huskies have a 26-8 record.  Utah State is 28-8.

The Gonzaga Bulldogs are the #1 seed in the West.  They’ll play in Salt Lake City, Utah Thursday at 4:25 against the winner of Tuesday night’s game between Fairleigh Dickinson and Prairie View A & M.
