High school football season will be delayed

The Washington Interscholastic Activities Association has announced the start of practice for the high school football season and other fall sports has been moved back due to the coronavirus. Football practice will now begin Sept. 5th. Other fall sports will begin on the 7th. The first week of football game action had been scheduled for Friday Sept. 4th.

The WIAA says they’ll give their next update on the fall schedule in two weeks.
