High school football playoff schedule set

A big week of high school football playoff action for Whatcom County teams begins Tuesday night.  The Meridian Trojans visit Granite Falls for a Class 1A district game at 6:30.

It’s a full schedule Friday.  We have a radio doubleheader on KPUG.  Lynden plays Sehome in a 2A district game at 4:30 followed by Squalicum and Juanita at 7:00.  Ferndale takes on undefeated O’Dea at Memorial Stadium in Seattle at 5:00.  In Class 1A Lynden Christian hosts Cedar Park Christian at 7:00.  Mount Baker plays South Whidbey at Sedro-Woolley High School at 7.  In Class 1B Lummi hosts Rainier Christian in a play-in game at 6:00.  In regular season play Nooksack Valley visits Oak Harbor.

Bellingham and Blaine are done for the season.
