High school football playoff match-ups are set

The opening round of the high school football state playoffs is coming this weekend and match-ups are set for Whatcom County teams.

Friday night Sehome visits Liberty High School in Issaquah and Squalicum goes to Mountain View in Vancouver, Washington. Saturday there’s a tripleheader at Civic Stadium with Lynden Christian taking on Cascade Christian at 1:00, Lynden facing Eatonville at 4 and Meridian playing Elma at 7. Saturday night Mount Baker goes to Montesano at 6:00.

In Class 1B Saturday the Lummi Blackhawks have a state play-in game hosting Crescent at 1:00.
