High school football moves to spring

High school sports will have a different look in the 2020-21 school year.  The Washington Interscholastic Activities Association has announced there will be four seasons instead of the usual three.  The big news is high school football will be played in the spring instead of the fall.

The new seasons look like this…

Season 1: Cross country, slowpitch softball, girls swimming and diving.

Season 2: Basketball, bowling, boys swimming and diving, gymnastics, wrestling, cheerleading.

Season 3: Football, girls soccer,  volleyball

Season 4: Baseball, track and field, fastpitch softball, golf, tennis, boys soccer.
