High school district results from Thursday

Girls 1A district basketball finals Thursday night…the Meridian Trojans beat Overlake 68-40. Nooksack Valley watched a last-second shot from King’s rim out as the Pioneers beat the Knights 52-51.

Meridian and Nooksack Valley have both clinched spots in the regional tournament. They will now play for the 3rd and 4th seeds Saturday night at 6:00 at Mountlake Terrace.
