High school basketball finals Thursday

High school basketball scores Thursday night…on the boys side Lynden Christian beat Lakewood 74-62.  Meridian defeated Bellingham 64-47 and Burlington beat Squalicum 60-40.

In girls play Lynden Christian beat Lakewood 61-16, Meridian got by Bellingham 49-38 and Nooksack Valley defeated Blaine 56-41.

Coming up Saturday night on KPUG it’s a battle of the top two Class 2A boys teams in the state as #1 Lynden visits #2 Burlington.   Coverage begins with a 7:00 pre-game show and 7:15 tip-off.  That’s on KPUG and KPUG1170.com.
