H-S basketball all-state teams announced

The Associated Press named its 2019 high school basketball all-state teams Wednesday.  Several Whatcom County players were recognized.

Lynden senior Clayton Whitman is the Class 2A Player of the Year.  Cole Bajema of Lynden Christian is the 1A Player of the Year.  Lynden’s Christian Zamora received honorable mention.

On the girls side Keylie Hershey of Lynden was named first-team all-state in Class 2A. Isabela Hernandez of Lynden Christian made the first team in 1A.  Fellow Lync Grace Sterk received honorable mention.
