Girls 1A district finals Tuesday

Final scores in girls Class 1A district basketball Tuesday night…Lynden Christian advanced beating Cedar Park Christian 82-14.  Nooksack Valley lost to King’s 43-36.  Meridian beat Coupeville 52-24 and Mount Baker defeated South Whidbey 53-17.

That means Lynden Christian plays King’s for the district title Saturday at 5:30 at Mount Vernon High School.  Nooksack Valley hosts Mount Baker Thursday night at 7:00 and Meridian plays at Cedar Park Christian also Thursday at 7.

Wednesday night’s radio game has the Lynden Christian boys in the winners bracket hosting South Whidbey.  It’s a 6:45 pre-game show and 7:00 tip-off on KPUG and KPUG1170.com.  Also Wednesday night in boys play Meridian is at King’s in the winners bracket.  Nooksack Valley hosts Sultan in a loser-out game and Mount Baker goes to Cedar Park Christian in another loser-out game all tipping off at 7:00.

In Class 2A Wednesday night the Sehome girls host Sedro-Woolley, Bellingham goes to Anacortes and Blaine visits Cedarcrest.  All are loser-out games and all tip-off at 7:00.
