Washington Wizards rookie forward Rui Hachimura will miss at least the team’s next five games because of an injured groin. Hachimura will be re-evaluated when the Wizards return from an upcoming road trip. He was hurt in the first half of Washington’s 133-119 victory at the Detroit Pistons on Monday. Hachimura is averaging 13.9 points and 5.8 rebounds for the Wizards. He has started every game during the team’s 8-17 start this season. Hachimura was the first Japanese player to be taken in the first round of an NBA draft.
