Five county football teams listed in AP state poll

The first Associated Press high school football state rankings are out and several Whatcom County teams are listed. The highest-ranked local team is Lummi at #4 in Class 1B. Lynden is 6th in Class 2A. In the single-A poll Meridian is #6 and Mt. Baker is #10. Lynden Christian is the first team outside the Top-10.

Ferndale is 10th in Class 3A. You can hear Ferndale visit Lynden Friday night on KPUG.
