Ferndale girls advance in state soccer playoffs

The Ferndale High School girls soccer team won its state playoff opener Wednesday night beating Bonney Lake on the road 2-1.

The Golden Eagles move on to play Lakeside in the quarterfinals with the time, date and place to be announced.
