Erasmo Ramirez is back with the M’s

Erasmo Ramirez has been recalled from AAA Tacoma, and will be the starter for today’s game for the Mariners versus the Atlanta Braves. This will be Ramirez’s seventh start for the M’s this season with his last start coming on May 7th in Oakland. In his seven starts Ramirez has a 1 and 4 record with a 6.00 ERA.

To make room on the roster infielder Nick Franklin has been optioned to the Rainers. Franklin rejoined the Mariners on May the 20th and has just hit .129 with 15 strikeouts.

Today’s game, from Turner Field, in Atlanta can be heard on KPUG 1170 The Sports Leader starting with the pregame show at 3:00pm it’s a scheduled 4:05pm first pitch.
