District tournament scores Wednesday night

High school basketball district tournament finals from Wednesday…the Lynden Christian boys beat South Whidbey 72-37.  Meridian fell to King’s 77-42.  Nooksack Valley beat Sultan 68-53.  Mount Baker got eliminated by Cedar Park Christian 76-59.

That means Lynden Christian will play King’s for the district championship Friday night at Mount Vernon High School.  Meridian hosts Nooksack Valley Thursday night on KPUG with a 6:45 pregame show and 7:00 tip-off.

In Class 2A girls play Sehome advanced beating Sedro-Woolley 42-35.  The Mariners play at Archbishop Murphy Friday night.  Bellingham got knocked out by Anacortes 55-36 and Blaine was eliminated by Cedarcrest 64-24.

Also on the schedule Thursday night the Sehome boys visit Blaine, the Meridian girls go to Cedar Park Christian and Nooksack Valley hosts Mount Baker. In class 3A the Ferndale boys visit Arlington and the Squalicum boys host Shorewood.
