District tournament final scores from Friday night

Last night in the high school basketball district tournament, the Lynden girls took down the Liberty Patriots 56-38. They will fight Arch-Bishop Murphy Monday night at Mt. Vernon High School at 7:30pm for a chance to compete in the District Championship game. Ferndale fell to Shorecrest 56-40. The Golden Eagles will play Edmonds-Woodway Tuesday at 6pm in a loser out game. Sehome lost in a close match to Burlington-Edison 56-55. They will take on Anacortes in a loser out game Monday at Mt. Vernon Christian at 6pm.

On the boys side, Mt. Baker eliminated Cedar Christian Park 70-43 and will play the King’s Knights Saturday at 3:45pm at Mt. Vernon High School.
