Seattle Sounders and United States Men’s National Team forward Clint Dempsey will be on the North American cover of FIFA 15.

The news was announced during Saturday’s friendly against Tottenham Hotspur.

Fans unfurled a huge banner to fill an entire end zone of seats showing Dempsey’s face with the words “Dempsey is in the game”, a play off EA Sports’ slogan “It’s in the game”.

Dempsey will share the cover with reigning World Cup Player of the Year Lionel Messi.
