Seattle native Fred Couples likely to make Masters cut for 30th time.

AUGUSTA, Ga. (AP) — Seattle native Fred Couples is likely going to make the cut at the Masters for the 30th time, which would tie Gary Player for the second most in tournament history. Only six-time Masters champion Jack Nicklaus made more cuts at Augusta National, with 30. Couples, the 1992 Masters champion, shot a 2-over 74 in the second round today. The projected cutline is 5 over.
