Canucks draft 8 players including 5th overall pick Petterson

Chicago, Illinois – The Vancouver Canucks selected a total of eight players in the 2017 NHL Entry Draft.

Center Elias Pettersson was the 5th overall pick.

Other new Canucks include forward Kole Lind , forward Jonah Gadjovich, forward Petrus Palmu, defenseman Jack Rathbone, defenseman Kristoffer Gunnarsson, defenseman Matt Brassard, and goalie Michael DiPietro, .

According to Canucks.com The Canucks acquired the 135th and 181st selections from Chicago in exchange for the 112th selection.
