Bells thump Black Bears to win 3rd straight

The Bellingham Bells banged out 12 hits Tuesday night to pick-up their third straight victory. The Bells posted  a 14-to-5 win over the Cowlitz Black Bears in front of 26-hundred plus fans for Cascasde Radio Group Night with the Bells at Joe Martin Field.

Austin Shenton went 3-for-4 with 2 RBI’s and Austin Pinorini added 3 RBI’s to pace the Bells attack.

Starting pitcher Rogelio Reyes picked up the victory, going 6 innings, giving up 4 runs and just 1 walk.

Bellingham improves to 8-and-8 in the second half of the season.  They trail North Division leader Victoria by 1.5 games.

Bellingham and Cowlitz square off again Wednesday night at Joe Martin Field. First pitch is scheduled for 6:35pm.
