Bells lose late lead, get swept in Portland

The Bellingham Bells saw Portland come from behind with two runs in the bottom of the 9th inning Sunday to get a 6-5 win over Bellingham and a sweep of the three-game series. Zach Needham had two RBI’s in the loss for Bellingham. Matt James and Matt McLain also drove in runs for the Bells.

Bellingham has Monday night off. They host Cowlitz Tuesday night at Joe Martin Field.
