Bellingham’s Shenton gets promoted in M’s organization

Former Bellingham High School baseball star Austin Shenton has been promoted in the Seattle Mariners organization.  After hitting .367 in 21 games with the Everett AquaSox Shenton got called up to the Class A West Virginia Power Monday.

In his first game in a West Virginia uniform Monday night Shenton hit a two-run home run.
