Bellingham Slam general manager and assistant coach Kip Leonetti was found dead of an apparent suicide Monday in Spokane.  Bellingham Police says they were notified Wednesday that Leonetti, who also worked at Western Washington University, was found dead in a hotel room.

Two players on the Slam team reported earlier this month that they believed someone recorded them as they showered after a game at Seattle Pacific University.  Leonetti was identified as a suspect and put on administrative leave at Western a few days later.

Investigators say they later confirmed Leonetti’s cell phone had the recording of the players in the shower.  Western and Bellingham police say they are now working to identify any additional victims and ask anyone with information on this case to call Bellingham police.
