Bellingham Slam center Poole earns international honor

Bellingham Slam center Blake Poole has been honored for his play overseas. Poole was selected as Eurobasket.com’s Center of the Year for Germany’s ProB League. Poole averaged 21 points and 12 rebounds per game for the Hertener Lions in Germany this past winter.
Poole and the Slam are back in action Friday when Bellingham plays host to the Salem Sabres at Lynden High School. The game tips-off at 7:00pm. You can hear it all on KBAI (930AM) beginning at 6:35pm.
