Bellingham falls to Walla Walla

Walla Walla scored 10 runs in the first four innings and held on to beat the Bellingham Bells, 10-6, in West Coast League action Saturday in Walla Walla.

Bells (1-1) starter Brad Monson was roughed up for nine runs and seven hits in only two innings. Three pitchers combined to throw the remaining six innings, allowing only one run on four hits, along with striking out five and walking three.

Bellingham’s Dallas Carroll lead the offensive charge for the Bells, finishing 3-5 with two runs batted in and one run scored.
