A big weekend of high school football playoff action

The high school football playoffs really get going this weekend for Whatcom County teams.  There’s a doubleheader on AM1170 KPUG Friday night as Lynden takes on Sehome followed by Squalicum and Juanita.  That’s a 4:05 pre-game show and 4:30 kickoff Friday night on KPUG and KPUG1170.com. Elsewhere in the prep post-season Friday night Ferndale visits #1 O’Dea at 5:00, Lynden Christian hosts Cedar Park Christian, Mount Baker takes on South Whidbey at Sedro-Woolley High School and Lummi hosts Rainier Christian at 6:00.  Saturday night Meridian visits King’s in North Seattle.

In regular season play Friday night Nooksack Valley visits Oak Harbor.
