2018 Bells to start season with 11 players on 10-day contracts

The Bellingham Bells summer league baseball team will open the 2018 season with 11 players on 10-day contracts.  Due to varying schedules the Bells full-time players will arrive in town at different times through the month of June.

One of the ten-day players is catcher Matt James, former star at Ferndale High School.  James just finished his freshman season at Notre Dame.

The Bells other 10-day players will be pitchers Justin Armbruester and Alex Gregory, Infielder Tori Doten and outfielder Marques Carlson from Pacific Lutheran, pitchers Elliott Carney and Lucas Ford from Edmonds Community College, pitcher Tyler Williams and infielder Griffin McCormick from Bellevue College, pitcher Marcos Cuenca from Western Oklahoma State, infielder Ben McKay from Wenatchee Valley Community College.

The Bells open the new season June 1st in Kelowna.
