1A district tournament finals Monday

A big night of action in Class 1A district tournament hoops Monday night…on the boys side Lynden Christian beat Sultan 87-53.  Nooksack Valley lost by one to South Whidbey 47-46.  Mount Baker fell to King’s 83-42 and Meridian beat Cedar Park Christian 77-49.

That means Wednesday night Lynden Christian hosts South Whidbey, Meridian goes to King’s, Nooksack Valley has a loser-out game hosting Sultan and Mount Baker visits Cedar Park Christian in another loser-out game all at 7:00.

In girls play Lynden Christian handled South Whidbey 81-14.  Nooksack Valley beat Coupeville 61-15.  Mount Baker lost to Cedar Park Christian 54-42 and Meridian fell to King’s 42-36.

The girls are back at Tuesday night.  Our radio game on KPUG has the Lynden Christian girls hosting Cedar Park Christian with a 6:45 pre-game start at 7:00 tip.  That’s also on KPUG1170.com.  Elsewhere Tuesday night Nooksack Valley visits King’s, Mount Baker hosts South Whidbey in a loser-out game and Meridian goes to Coupeville in another loser-out game.  They all tip off at 7:00.
