WWU student Breezy Johnson opens Olympic Competition

PYEONCHANG, South Korea –   Local Olympian Breezy Johnson had her day on the slopes yesterday competing in the Winter Olympics Women’s Super-G.

The Western Washington University student from Idaho was the second highest placing US skier coming in at 14th.

Lindsey Vonn was the highest placing U.S. skier, taking 6th.

Johnson next competes in the women’s downhill Tuesday.
